Can you create a company logo and
tag line for my business?
Yes. BKC Technology has the software tools
and experience to develop graphic design for both the web and for
print.
Do I also need to have you design
and host my website if I only need a logo or other graphic elements
designed?
No. Web design, web hosting, and graphic
design are each individual services offered by BKC Technology.
Will you discount my graphic design
if I also have you design and/or host my website?
In most instances, BKC Technology does
not offer discounts of this nature. This is simply due to the current
pricing strategy being not only competitive, but in most cases BKC
Technology is able to provide pricing that is lower than many of
its competitors.
Is there a difference between web
graphics and print graphics?
Yes. The biggest difference is that web
graphics are ‘optimized’ for the web whereas print graphics
do not need to be optimized. Another variation is that web graphics
many times have more flexibility due to the nature of the medium
– the world wide web and web browsers – being more flexible
than a piece of physical stationary.
If you design my
web graphic(s) can you also provide those graphics to me for print
on my stationary?
Yes, in many cases this is a 1:1 ratio.
However, as mentioned in the FAQ above, web graphics may be different
than its print graphics counterpart. Thus, some graphics designed
for the web must be changed or modified in some way(s) to be available
for print. Due to the additional time and effort involved, there
may be a minor fee involved to provide a graphic designed for the
web, for print.
If so, how are they provided (what
medium)?
BKC Technology can provide your graphic(s)
in the following mediums based on your preference: printed on high-quality
paper in high-resolution, emailed to you as zipped attachment(s),
on CD or DVD media, or we can discuss my hand-delivering the media
and placing it directly onto your computer’s hard drive.
Is there a charge for you to print
my graphic(s) in high-resolution on high-quality paper if I so desire?
Yes, a small fee is applied for all printed
graphic media. This is not due to “penny-pinching”.
Have you checked prices on printer ink/toner and high-quality photo
paper lately? It sure can add up in a hurry!
What file format(s) do you use
when providing my graphic(s)?
Just about any file format your heart
desires including, but not limited to: JPG, BMP, TIFF, PNG, EPS,
PSD, and RAW.
